STAFF CREDENTIALS AND INTRODUCTIONS

Imam Saad from Oxford is a madrassah trained Hafiz, Imam and British Civil Servant.

He has been leading tarawih prayers, teaching the Islamic sciences including hifz to young people, and serving the community of Oxford for decades. He is also an advisor to the British Prison Service.

Here's the Hifz course and Tarbiyyah programme he has carefully designed and will be offering your children.

Ms Saira from Oxford is a qualified primary school teacher. She completed her teacher training (PGCE) from the prestigious Westminster College at the University of Oxford in England. She has been teaching and leading educational institutes for over 25 years in the UK, KSA and Pakistan. She offers a tailored teacher training programme here at the Oxford Montessori Hifz Nursery ensuring our staff are well trained & constantly completing CPD to further improve their teaching skills.

Ms Nafisa from Oxford is a Clinical Psychologist. She has been working successfully with clients including children for many years. She completed her BA in Psychology, followed by a Higher Education Psychology Certificate and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Psychology from universities in the UK. Other credentials include Integrative Psychotherapy, NLP, CBT, Counselling and Neuropsychology.

She will be offering workshops to the children to ensure they are emotionally intelligent and resilient. She will also be doing 'wellbeing checks' with our staff, and to any parents that request it. This is to ensure everyone at the Oxford Montessori Hifz Nursery can support the children in the best way possible.

Ms Salma from London is an Arabic and Tajweed teacher. She completed her BA in Arabic from SOAS University in England, as part of this program she studied Arabic in Damascus, Syria and became a fluent Arabic speaker. During her time in Syria, she studied Tajweed and gained a formal license to teach the Quran (ijazah). She is now qualified to teach Quran and issue ijazaat to her students.

She holds a BSc in International Relations and Politics from London as well as certificates in Autism and safeguarding children. She has been teaching various subjects including Arabic, Tajweed and French for decades and will be part of our language programme.

Ms Huma from Oxford is a qualified secondary school teacher, she is also a Montessori trained teacher, and an experienced teacher trainer. She completed her BA in History and Philosophy followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (+ Qualified Teacher Status) from England. Additionally, she studied the link between Islam and Montessori education at Rumi's Montessori Institute (Malaysia). She is also the head of our English Department.

She has been leading departments and schools around the UK as well as teaching GCSEs and A levels for decades. During her time as Head Teacher her school was rated by OFSTED (the UK Government's Education Officers) 'outstanding' and 'good' in all fields and made it to the news. Subsequently any departments she has led have also been rated highly, including the very popular club for primary school children in Oxford: www.minimuslimclub.co.uk (a franchise to this now exists here in Islamabad).

Ms Ayny from Oxford holds a diploma in Montessori Education and a BA in Business Information Systems from England. She has taught primary school children and helped at various summer camps for decades. She also helped establish various educational initiatives for young children including the Oxford Home Schooling Network and the Date Palm Tree in Oxford. She is the Head of Art & Sunnah Sports at our Nursery.
